| ::SYNOPSIS |
Viswanath is a multi millionaire living with his wife Rajeswari and their lovely educated daughter Chandra who is very affectionate only to father. Their only son Dilip who is attached to his mother is adamant and arrogant by nature, reluctant to all and cares for no body. Mr. and Mrs. Viswanath had no understanding between each other and they never lead a peaceful life. He was supported by his daughter alone in all aspects.
At this juncture, Viswanath met Manjula who was pregnant and was trying to end her life by committing suicide. He rescued her and after some time she gave birth to a female child, named Lekha.
Manjula showed her gratitude and affection towards Viswanath without any expectation by any means and Viswnath too showed his love towards Lekha and brought her up as his own daughter and gave his full support in her education and ambition to become a doctor.
Even though Rajeswari and Dilip never took the relationship between Viswanath and Manjula in a good manner, Chandra treated Manjula as her mother and gave respect to her,
After successfully finishing her studies, Lekha becomes a doctor.
Sudhakar is a doctor, who works with Lekha. Lekha falls in love with Sudhakar in the meantime Viswanath searched for a qualified and settled bridegroom for Chandra. At last he finds a suitable one for her and immediately arranged their engagement. Due to electric shock bridegroom expires on wedding day itself, which was a shock to all, with this Chandra was worse hit mentally, and brought to Dr. Sudhakar for treatment.
Rajeswari blames Viswanath for his illegal relationship with Manjula is the only cause for the tragic incident and all the happenings.
Dr. Sudhakar hails from a prestigious and respectable family who lives with his parents and uncle. His parents also liked Lekha but were hesitant about Manjula’s relationship with Viswanath. Finally Viswanath convinced them and they agreed and they agreed this alliance. By that time Dr. Sudhakar’s parents came to know about another truth by Seethgamma, a nurse who was there in the hospital during Manjula’s delivery that Lekha is not Viswanath’s own daughter.
There arouses another mystery, if Viswanath is not Lekha’s father, then who else is it? When Lekha comes to know about this fact she mistakes their relationship and develops a kind of hardness on Manjula and Viswanath.
The news of illegal relationship of Viswanth and Manjula spreads with people and hearing the same Sudhakar asks Lekha to send out Vishwanath from her house then only he will think of marrying her.Lekha responds to Sudhakar’s wish by sending out Viswanath. Her mother Manjula argues with her narrating the greatness of Viswanath which brought about unnecessary misunderstandings between the mother and the daughter. Manjula gives much importance to Viswanath as a sign of gratitude towards him rather than her only dear daughter.
On one side Viswanath got depressed by the fate of his mentally ill daughter and on the other side the society started blaming him for his good deed of saving the life of Manjula and protecting her without expecting anything on a humanitarian basis.
Now there arouses a question- Who is Manjula’s husband?
Why did she try to end her life by committing suicide? Who made her to get frustrated and taking a hasty decision of ending her life?
When it is investigated it came to limelight that Dr. Sudhakar’s family is the only cause for all the happenings and incidents related to Manjula.
Did Chandra respond to the treatment and become normal?
Could Lekha understand Viswanath, who was guardian throughout her life without any sort of expectation?
Did Lekha succeed in her love by marrying Dr. Sudhakar?
How did the quarrel between the mother and daughter come to an end? |
