These terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as the “Rules”) are applicable to all the Participant(s) (defined hereunder) commenting/responding (hereinafter referred to as “Comment”)  on the post published from Sun NXT’s Instagram ID (“Official ID”) , and the post put up on the Sun NXT app answering the questions as part of the “NXT Big Coolie Fan Contest” (“hereinafter referred to as the “Contest”) promoted/organized by Sun TV Network Limited (hereinafter referred to as “STNL”). These Rules may be amended from time to time at the sole discretion of STNL.

  1. Contest Period: The Contest will take place on 31st day of July 2025.
  2. This Contest is open for residents of India and applicable to persons aged 18 (Eighteen) years or above who have a valid subscription to Sun NXT OTT platform [“Participant(s)”]. Both the child Participant and their parents/legal guardian are bound by the Rules of this Contest.
  3. STNL will ask 1 (one) question during the Contest Period, with 2 (two) answer options (i.e., A or B). The questions will be related to the movie “Coolie”.

  4. The Participant(s) should post Comment(s) with the correct answer in the prescribed format i.e., “Answer – Hashtag – Favourite Rajinikanth Dialogue” (“Format”).  
    1. For Example: If a Participant named “Pooja” is sending option ‘A’ as the correct answer, then the Participant shall comment as “A – #NXTBigCoolieFan –“xxxyyyzzzzaaa”.
  5. The Participant(s) shall post their Comment, in the Format not later than July 31st, 2025, 11:59 PM during the Contest Period.
  6. The Participant(s) posting the correct answer in the Format within the time stipulated above shall be considered as a valid entry and they may be eligible for winning the Prize (as defined below), subject to these Rules.
  7.  Comments with incorrect answer will be treated as invalid entry and shall be rejected from the Contest.
  8. Only 1 (one) Comment per Participant will be considered as a valid entry during the Contest Period. Only 1 (one) entry is permitted per Participant during the Contest Period. Posting more than 1 (one) Comment during the Contest Period will not increase a Participant’s eligibility of winning the Contest and such additional Comment shall not be considered for the Contest. Only the first Comment posted by a Participant shall be considered.
  9. 15 (fifteen) Participants who have posted a Comment with the correct answers, in the correct Format and having the highest number of likes to their Comment shall be considered as winners of the Contest [each a “Winner” collectively “Winners”]. Each Winner may be eligible to receive 1 (one) pass to the Coolie Unleashed event (“Event”) taking place on 2nd August 2025 at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai (“Prize”) subject to these Rules and requests from Winner(s) for more or additional gifts shall not be entertained by STNL at any point of time.
  10. In case of any dispute in respect of the Prize/Winners, the decision of STNL shall be final and binding on all concerned parties.
  11. STNL shall reach out to the Winner(s) of the Contest via Instagram Direct Message from the Official ID and for verification of the Winner’s eligibility to participate in the Contest. STNL may at its sole discretion upload the list of Winner(s) in their Official ID of STNL. STNL shall wait for a maximum of 4 (four) hours for each Winner to claim their Prize. STNL shall not be held responsible or liable in case a Winner does not claim the Prize within the abovementioned period.
  12. STNL shall not be held responsible for any delay in announcing Winner(s) due to occurrence, reasons, cause or circumstances that are/may arise beyond its control.
  13. The Prize for the Winners shall be handed over in person to the Winner(s) at such place and time as decided by STNL at its sole discretion.
  14. The Winners shall be liable for all taxes and any other levies, if and as may be applicable to the Prize.
  15. STNL shall be entitled to request the Winner(s) to produce any identification document(s) from the Winner(s) as it may solely deem fit for verifying the identity and the eligibility of a Winner.
  16. Failure to claim the Prize shall result in forfeiture of the Prize and/or declaration of alternate Winner, at the sole discretion of STNL.
  17. The Winner(s) may be required to sign necessary documents/terms and conditions therein before receiving the Prize. In the event of any failure on the part of the Winner(s) to comply with directions issued by STNL herein, STNL shall be entitled to cancel and forfeit the Prize for the said Winner(s).
  18. All the costs and expenses for collecting the Prize shall be borne solely by the Winner(s) and STNL shall not entertain any request or claim, whatsoever in this regard.
  19. The Prize shall be non-transferable, non-negotiable and is non-cashable. Request for cash in lieu of Prize shall not be entertained by STNL.
  20. STNL makes no warranties, representations or guarantees, express or implied, in fact or in law, regarding the Contest or the Prize. In the event of any unforeseen circumstances, the event the Event is cancelled, postponed, or rescheduled for any reason whatsoever, STNL shall not be liable to distribute an alternate prize or offer any compensation, and the Winner(s) shall have no claim against STNL.
  21. STNL reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of any value at its sole discretion.
  22. Employees of STNL and its affiliates/subsidiaries, sponsors of the Prizes (if any), associated agencies, participating operators and their immediate family members and relatives are not eligible to participate in this Contest.
  23. STNL shall not be responsible for any loss or damage suffered by the Participant(s)/Winner(s) (i) while participating in the Contest; (ii) before or after collecting the Prize from STNL; or (iii) before/while or after attending the Event.
  24. By participating, Participant(s) consent to STNL collecting, storing, and processing their personal data solely for the purposes of administering this Contest. STNL shall not be liable for any unauthorized access or breach of personal data by third parties
  25. Failure by STNL to enforce any of these Rules in any instance(s) shall not give rise to any claim by any person.
  26. The Contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India and the Courts at Chennai shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from the Contest or these Rules.
  27. Any interim reliefs sought shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts of Chennai only.
  28. Participant(s) agree to indemnify and hold harmless STNL, its affiliates, employees, vendors and partners from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities or expenses arising out of their participation in the Contest or breach of these Rules.
  29. STNL, in its sole and absolute discretion, reserves the right at any time, without giving any prior notice to the participant(s), to extend, cancel, discontinue, prematurely withdraw the Contest and add, alter, modify, change or vary all or any of these Rules, wholly or in part thereof including the eligibility criteria, as may be required in view of business exigencies and/or changes by regulatory authority and/or statutory changes and the same shall be binding on the Participant(s)/Winner(s).
  30. Any attempt by Participant(s) to deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest and/or website or other operations of STNL is a violation of applicable laws and should such an attempt be made, STNL reserves the right to seek damages from any Participant(s) to the fullest extent as permitted by law in addition to its other rights/reliefs under applicable laws.
  31. All entries will be treated as the sole property of STNL and can be used by STNL for any promotional and/or commercial activity and the Participant(s)/ Winner(s) waive all rights of whatsoever nature including but not limited to any moral rights in the said entries in favour of STNL by participating in the Contest.
  32. The Participant(s) agrees and acknowledges that even if STNL does not exercise any of their rights in the Contest or any content created therefrom for more than a period of one (1) year, such rights will not lapse and revert pursuant to Section 19(4) of the Copyright Act, 1957.
  33. The Participant(s)/Winner(s) may be required by STNL to participate in a photo, video and/or film session and acknowledge that STNL has the absolute and exclusive right to use such publicity photos, videos and/or films in any medium and in any reasonable manner it may deem fit without any consideration or payment of similar nature to such Participant(s)/Winner(s).
  34. STNL in its absolute discretion may publicize, broadcast or otherwise disclose a Participant(s)/Winner's name, character, likeness, statements or any recording of their voice in advertising or promotional activities concerning this Contest, or generally. STNL may promote or advertise that a Winner has won the Contest.
  35. All license and rights granted to STNL by the Participant(s), shall vest with STNL in perpetuity.
  36. STNL at its sole discretion may also waive production of any of the aforesaid documents.
  37. STNL, its vendor and/or its subsidiaries shall not be liable to any person or entity for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, including loss or profits, incurred by any Participant(s), Winner(s) or any third party, whether in connection with this Contest or for breach of any warranty or in tort.
  38. STNL, its vendors and its subsidiaries shall not be responsible for any claim/s arising out of any technical failure/s either before, during, or after the completion of the Contest including but not limited to any technical failures of servers or any mistakes arising out of technical snags, or if the Event is not conducted. Further, STNL shall not be responsible for any claims arising out of any failure(s) which are beyond the control of STNL or its vendors.
  39.  This Contest is subject to force majeure circumstances i.e., an act of God or any circumstance beyond the control of STNL.
  40. The Contest is valid, subject to the Participant(s) and Winner(s) complying with all terms, conditions and/or formalities as required by STNL. Any failure on the part of the Participant(s)/ Winner(s) to comply with any specified term, condition and/or formality shall render the Participant(s)/ Winner(s) liable for disqualification at the sole discretion of STNL.
  41. STNL reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any Participant(s) found tampering with the entry process, violating these Rules, or acting in a disruptive manner.
  42. This Contest is subject to guidelines/directions issued by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) and all other relevant statutory authority(ies) from time to time.
  43. STNL shall not be responsible for the quality, fitness, merchantability, defect or deficiency, etc. of the Prize(s) and no claim or request, whatsoever, in this respect shall be entertained by the STNL.
  44. Participation in the Contest implies acceptance of all the terms and conditions associated with the Contest.
