These terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as the “Rules”) are applicable to all the Participant(s) (defined hereunder) sending answers via WhatsApp to the number “8291829176” (hereinafter referred to as “Message(s)”) for the contest titled “GHORE BOSE LOKKHI LABH” (“hereinafter referred to as the “CONTEST”) promoted/organized by Sun TV Network Limited (hereinafter referred to as “STNL”) on its channel “Sun Bangla” (“Channel”) in Bengali language. These Rules may be amended from time to time at the sole discretion of STNL. 

  1. Contest Period: The Contest starts on 1st February 2026 (Sunday) at 7 PM and ends on the 14th February 2026 (Saturday) at 08.30PM.
  2. The Contest will be conducted only during the Contest Period. This Contest is open for residents of West Bengal and all are bound by the Rules of this Contest (“Participant(s)”).
  3. During the Contest Period, STNL will ask 1 (one) question per day based on the show Lakh Takar Lokkhi Labh telecasted on the Channel at 7.00PM.
  4. The Participant(s) should send a Message(s) containing the correct answer, or response in the prescribed format if specified by the Channel.
  5. The Participant(s) of all operators shall send Message(s), not later than 8.30 P.M. on the respective days during the Contest Period.
  6. The Participant(s) sending the correct answer within the time stipulated above shall be considered as a valid entry and such Message(s) with correct answer are only eligible for winning the Prize (as defined below).
  7.  The Participant(s) sending incorrect answer will be treated as an invalid entry and shall be rejected from the Contest.
  8. Only one Message per phone number will be considered as a valid entry during the Contest Period. Only one entry is permitted per Participant(s) during the Contest Period. Sending more than a Message per day during the Contest Period will not be treated as eligibility of winning in the Contest.
  9. Each day, 4 winners (totalling 56 winners) shall be selected as Winner(s) (“Winner(s)”) during the Contest Period. Of these, 1 Winner (“Winner(s) 1”) shall be entitled to a cash prize of INR 50,000/- (Indian Rupees Fifty Thousand only) (“Prize 1”). The remaining three (3) Winners (“Winner(s) 2”), shall be entitled to a cash prize of INR 10,000/- (Indian Rupees Ten Thousand only) (“Prize 2”) (“Prize”). STNL shall not entertain any requests from Winner(s) for more or additional prizes or gifts at any time.
  10. In case of any dispute in respect of the Prize/Winner(s), the decision of STNL shall be final and binding on all concerned parties.
  11. The Winner(s) name shall be announced on the Channel within one week from the date of the Contest. STNL at its sole discretion may upload the list of Winner(s) in their official Facebook, Instagram profiles/handles of the Channel/STNL. STNL shall not be held responsible or liable in case the Winner(s) is/are not reachable by the Channel/STNL’s representative after the results have been declared.  A maximum of 3 (Three) attempts will be made to contact each Winner by Channel/ STNL. In the event of failure, Channel/STNL shall not be liable to prove the efforts that were made in this regard.
  12. The Channel/STNL shall not be held responsible for any delay in announcing Winner(s) due to occurrence, reasons, cause or circumstances that are/may arise beyond its control.
  13. The Prize shall be directly transferred to the Winner(s) respective bank account via the NEFT process.
  14. The Winner(s) shall be liable for all taxes and any other levies, if and as may be applicable to the Prize. STNL, if required, shall deduct such taxes and other levies, if and as applicable.
  15. The Channel/STNL shall be entitled to request the Winner(s) to produce any identification document(s) (i.e., Aadhar, PAN or Bank details) from the Winner(s) as it may solely deem fit.
  16. STNL at its sole discretion may also waive production of any of the aforesaid documents.
  17. Failure to claim the Prize shall result in forfeiture of the Prize and/or declaration of alternate Winner, at the sole discretion of STNL.
  18. The Winner(s) may be required to sign necessary documents/terms and conditions therein before receiving the Prize. In the event of any failure on the part of the Winner(s) to comply with directions issued by STNL herein, STNL shall be entitled to cancel and forfeit the Prize for the said Winner(s).
  19. All the costs and expenses for collecting the Prize shall be borne solely by the Winner(s) and STNL shall not entertain any request or claim, whatsoever in this regard.
  20. The Prize shall be non-transferable and non-negotiable. In the event of any unforeseen circumstances, STNL reserves the sole right to offer Prize of the any value.
  21. Employees of STNL and its affiliates/subsidiaries, sponsors of the Prizes (if any), associated agencies, participating operators and their immediate family members and relatives are not eligible to participate in this Contest.
  22. STNL shall not be responsible for any loss or damage suffered by the Participant(s)/ Winner(s) either while participating in the Contest or before or after collecting the Prize from STNL.
  23. Failure by STNL to enforce any of these Rules in any instance(s) shall not give rise to any claim by any person.
  24. The Contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes, differences or any other matters in relation to and arising out of the Contest and/or pertaining to the Rules shall be referred to Arbitration under the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitral tribunal shall consist of a sole arbitrator to be appointed by High court of Madras. The venue of arbitration shall be at Chennai, and the Arbitration proceedings shall be in English.
  25. Any interim reliefs sought under Arbitration shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts of Chennai only.
  26. STNL, in its sole and absolute discretion, reserves the right at any time, without giving any prior notice to the Participant(s), to extend, cancel, discontinue, prematurely withdraw the Contest and add, alter, modify, change or vary all or any of these Rules, wholly or in part thereof including the eligibility criteria, as may be required in view of business exigencies and/or changes by regulatory authority and/or statutory changes and the same shall be binding on the Participant(s) / Winner(s).
  27. Any attempt by a Participant(s) to deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest and/or website or other operations of STNL is a violation of applicable laws and should such an attempt be made, STNL reserves the right to seek damages from any such Participant(s) to the fullest extent as permitted by law in addition to its other rights/reliefs under the applicable laws.
  28. All entries will be treated as the sole property of STNL and can be used by STNL for any promotional and/or commercial activity and the Participant(s)/ Winner(s) waive all rights of whatsoever nature in the said entries in favour of STNL by participating in the Contest.
  29. The Participant(s)/Winner(s) may be required by STNL to participate in a photo, video and/or film session and acknowledge that STNL has the absolute and exclusive right to use such publicity photos, videos and/or films worldwide, in any medium and in any reasonable manner it may deem fit for a perpetual period, without any consideration or payment of similar nature to such Participant(s)/Winner(s).
  30. The provisions of Section 19(4) of the Copyright Act, 1957 shall not apply to any rights of STNL under these Terms and Conditions.
  31. STNL in its absolute discretion may publicize, broadcast or otherwise disclose a Participant(s)/Winner's name, character, likeness, statements or any recording of their voice in advertising or promotional activities concerning this Contest, or generally. STNL may promote or advertise that a Winner has won the Contest.
  32. Participant(s)/Winner(s) expressly waive any moral rights or right to attribution with respect to their entry(ies) and agree not to assert any claim against STNL in this regard.
  33. Participant(s) agree to indemnify and hold harmless STNL, its affiliates, employees, vendors and partners from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities or expenses arising out of their participation in the Contest or breach of these Rules.
  34. By participating, Participant(s) consent to STNL collecting, storing, and processing their personal data solely for the purposes of administering this Contest. STNL shall not be liable for any unauthorized access or breach of personal data by third parties.
  35. STNL, its vendor and/or its subsidiaries shall not be liable to any person or entity for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, including loss or profits, incurred by any Participant(s), Winner(s) or any third party, whether in connection with this Contest or for breach of any warranty or in tort.
  36. STNL, its vendors and its subsidiaries shall not be responsible for any claim/s arising out of any technical failure/s either before, during, or after the completion of the Contest including but not limited to any technical failures in the telephone lines, failure of servers or the failure to provide the correct contest score updates or any mistakes arising out of technical snags. Further, STNL shall not be responsible for any claims arising out of any failure(s) which are beyond the control of STNL or its vendors.
  37.  This Contest is subject to force majeure circumstances i.e., an act of God or any circumstance beyond the control of STNL.
  38. The Contest is valid, subject to the Participant(s) and Winner(s) complying with all terms, conditions and/or formalities as required by STNL. Any failure on the part of the Participant(s)/ Winner(s) to comply with any specified term, condition and/or formality shall render the Participant(s)/ Winner(s) liable for disqualification at the sole discretion of STNL.
  39. This Contest is subject to guidelines/ directions issued by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India or any other relevant statutory authority(ies) from time to time.
  40. Participation in the Contest implies acceptance of all the terms and conditions associated with the Contest.
